Terrible!!

This is a terrible excuse for an app. Charter advertises, watch you favorite show wherever you go. Good luck getting any show to load. If it does happen to load, give it 10 to 15 minutes and it will crash. If part of my bill is paying for this, I need a REFUND! If I could give this NO STARS, I would.

Absolutely bad and unacceptable

I cut the cord- was one of those who couldnt stand having to threaten with disconnection every year to get their "latest promotional" deal to bring the price hike down. I now only subscribe to this service for the local channels only because of football. I have now been reminded why I would never go back to giving them a chance with full TV service. This app is a joke. In order to get one channel to work consistently I have to reboot my Roku, pick a channel other than the one I want to watch, let it run for a minute, and then hope that I will connect to the channel I want to watch. Usually a 50/50 that it will and then 50/50 if it will stay connected. This is a horrible experience. I live by myself and am an IT professions so my house has 2 separate networks so only 2-3 devices are connected to either the wired or wireless at a time. The Roku is hard wired so there should be no reason why the app crashes when watching. Once football season is over cancelling again.

Doesnt work

I was able to load several choices to my watch list, sadly none of them will load to play.

Nice app but disappointed

The only issue I have with this app is that it isnt available on Apple TV and I have to use AirPlay anytime I want to use it with one.

Id give it a half-star if I could

This app stinks. Never works. Drops EVERY time I use it. I dont understand why a huge tv corporation cannot develop a reliable mobile application. Id just like to sit on my patio and watch the news...

Impossible to use.

Cant get to the sign in/password screen. When you start to type the screen goes up. I doubt that it works any better than the sign on.

Really bad

Hard to find a more useless app. If Charter spent as much money on developing technology as advertising they might be able to build a 2 star app. The only reason I have Charter is that the other choices are just as bad.

Needs work

I agree that this app has not improved much in the year since I wrote my first review. I installed Kodi software on my Amazon Fire Boxes and will shut off cable tv completely! Kodi is awesome!

Slow, error prone

Slow as hell. Has random errors on video startup saying services arent available. Broadcast channels still arent available.....yes, Broadcast channels, the same channels available FOR FREE over the airwaves.

Lousy app

As others have stated, lousy app and Charter doesnt address the issues that have been reported repeatedly. Slow, unresponsive, downloads fail, says programming expires earlier than posted date, clunky UI. Call Charter support with generic error messages only to hear "Yeah, that happens". Should be 0 Stars. They obviously dont test their app like customers use it

A 1 is " very " generous "

I moved to an area that only charter services. I would guarantee that if there were more cable options - they would be out of this area quick . Only have customers because they have a captive market share. This is absolutely the WORST cable provider and the lamest app ever. I cant even get the channels I am paying for on my live tv app while on my paid for wifi . My on demand has NEVER worked and after three calls they still havent fixed. No innovative products. Substandard service and no care for the customer. Dont download app its worthless unless you want to watch home shopping network or Cartoon Network.

Useless

App says go to website and reset password. Done ... but still the app says go to website and reset password. Rinse and repeat.

Miserable. Charter deserves angry customers for this.

Awful app. Terribly unresponsive, outdated and buggy.. Charter clearly doesnt like Apple or Apples users. They need to open up their channels to Apple TV and fix AirPlay here. This is a reflection of their maturity, and as an avid chord cutter Im looking elsewhere.

Record doesnt work

Every time Ive tried to record to a television, Ive received and error message with we apologize message. As for spectrum, every recording gets cut off if you dont set it to end 1 minute longer. No excuse for this. Programmers have to be aware.

It hardly works

Not reliable. Sad really.

Please Fix!

Please fix this app! For the amount of money that we pay to have Charter Cable, I want to be able to use this service also! Shows wont even open and play now and the app constantly crashes.

Low tech app at best when it works

Wish it wouldnt crash when trying to record a show.
