Charter is Terrible

No live detroit sports, The only reason I have cable. Everything that Charter does is awful. This app is no exception. Long wait times, horrible organization, and most live shows are not even available. Many complaints and service attempts later, still no improvement. However, Charter is very good at over charging customers....

Horrendous

Save your time and aggravation. This app crashes and sends more error codes than it does help you to change the channel. Good to know I pay for cable service and they cant even come up with a decent app. Very disappointed...charter, step your game up people. This is disgusting.

Disappointing

The concept of the app is awesome, but the execution is beyond awful. The "guide" functionality is mediocre at best. I mainly downloaded this app to be able to change the channels on my TV without the remote (it gets misplaced constantly and there are no channel buttons on our receiver). Every once in a while this app works the way its supposed to, but most days its a waste of space on my phone. Makes me want to switch to a different provider.

Oh, come on!

This is a very unstable app. After downloading shows, I frequently find I cannot watch them on a plane. I switched from Frontier to Spectrum solely for this feature and it is unreliable. In addition, the search functions are very limited. This is a bush league app.

Very Disappointing

Seems to work ok on my iPhone 6s but not at all on my iPad. Have tried all I know to do, but still cannot watch live or even see the guide on the iPad.

Not Worth it!

This app is worthless! It quits working at random and its junk! Honestly Im never downloading it again. It does great for a few weeks but then it kicks you out, doesnt load, and more. Trust me no one should even bother with it.

The app itself seems to work with my devices.

However it is very frustrating that it will not broadcast KSDK-NBC in our area. Is this an Olympic thing ? Just started recently. Hope it is resolved soon. That is our favorite channel.

Ugh..

Wow, this is terrible. Only a few channels work. Navigate TV/News and I can watch the 1996 Republican Convention????

Worst APP

1. You cant record shows unless youre logged into the main website at charter.net, whats the point of this app ? 2. Why cant I watch any shows on the APP if Im on the same network in my own home ? 3. Very buggy. Most of the time it doesnt load anything.

I pay way to much per month to not have the functionality this app is supposed to provide

Too many problems

Charter, stop being so cheap and fix the video streaming problem, really

Almost useless

Cannot get the guide to load, cannot see what I have recorded, very limited viewing if not at home. ATT Uverse app is actually better although still marginal

Terrible mobile app

Spectrum app is terrible. Slow and crashes all the time. Worst deficiency is that I cannot get local channels as well as other channels that I can get on TV. Tech support tells me Charter doesnt have rights to show them in the app. Had Verizon Fios before and their app was much better.

AW-FUL!

This app is nothing short of aggravating. No such thing as "watch on demand". Video freezes, but the sound continues. In some cases, no video or sound....just a black screen. Ive lost count how many times Ive stopped a show, backed out of the app and reload just to watch a single episode...many times I just give up. It is ridiculous.

CrAPP

Spotty at best. With all of the boasting on the TV commercials, you would think this is a blazing fast app that gives you everything you have with the set top box (in the home only). NOT TRUE. They must not have ever field tested this app, because if the did they would already know what I and everyone before is saying.

This doesnt deserve a star. It stopped working no video no channel, nothing.

On Roku

When it works...GREAT! However, there are many many times that the App crashes with M# and R# messages and to call Spectrum(Charter) to resolve the issue. Their answer is to either unplug the Roku wait 30 seconds and plug it back in and the system will reboot their App. OR it is a system wide outage and will return as soon as possible as technicians are working on the issue. It seems this happens during prime time a lot. I should be charting the outages and ask for a refund.

It Work Whenever

This app is really bad.... Ive had to uninstall it and reinstalled several times.... It works when it wants to.... So much for convenience..... Fix it...

App fails

I cant get all access to channels. States I need to be connected to wi-fi to get full access. FUNNY, BECAUSE IM CONNECTED TO MY INTERNET AND STILL NO ACCESS. PIECE OF CRAP.
